Before establishing my firm, I gained experience advising individuals and organizations in education, nonprofit, policy, and business-adjacent settings. I’m a corporate attorney, strategic advisor, and mission-driven entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience working at the intersection of law, finance, business, and impact.
As the Founder of TGW Legal & Advisory Services, I counsel corporations, nonprofits, and growth-stage enterprises on corporate structuring, governance, contracting, compliance, and strategic operations. I’m known for delivering practical, business-minded legal guidance grounded in real-world executive leadership experience.
My professional foundation was shaped through roles at global and brand-leading organizations, including Ernst & Young LLP, where I built deep expertise in audit, risk, and financial advisory, and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where I gained exposure to corporate operations within a lifestyle media and consumer brand enterprise. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Certified Public Accountant—an experience that continues to inform my integrated legal and financial perspective.
In addition to my legal practice, I’m the Founder of a children’s environmental education and lifestyle company dedicated to teaching youth sustainability, environmental stewardship, and social impact through media, curriculum, and community programming. This work reflects my commitment to building both successful enterprises and meaningful legacy initiatives.
I hold a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina Central University. I’m admitted to practice law in New York.
